Research activities
- Study and measurement of the electronic energy loss and straggling of the energetic ions in polymers, crystals, and graphene. Comparing with the existing semi-empirical approaches in programs SRIM, TRIDYNE, MSTAR and theoretical approaches (Bohr, Bethe-Livingston et al.). Database completion of the electronic energy losses.
- Study of synthetic polymers implanted metal ions (Mn+, Co+, Fe+), determination of depth profiles of implanted metal ions and UV-Vis measurements analysis.
- Determination of the surface concentration of composed of (Zr (W, Nb)-B-C, DLC etc.) Using the methods and ERDA RBS, where it was necessary to optimize the measurement for each element separately, and the resulting composition progressively to compile a series of spectra.
- Determination of the concentration profile of metal ions Cu+, Ag+ and Au+ implanted into the glass using a method of RBS.
- Determination of the concentration profile of Ag+ in the polymer PMMA.
- Analysis of samples of carbon allotropes focused on the preparation and modification of graphene.
- Study of damage accumulation of yttria-stabilized zirconia irradiated with different ions using RBS-C method, comparison with the MC simulation code FLUX.
