Authorized metrological centre
Authorized Metrological Centre K111 of Nuclear Physics Institute, CAS, provides metrological services in accordance with Act No. 505/1990 Coll. on Metrology. These services consist mainly of periodical verification of legally controlled measuring instruments according to Decree No. 345/2002 Coll. of Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Our metrological centre verifies measuring devices given in annex of the above mentioned decree under items:
8.3 Meters used to determine diagnostic and therapeutic doses for medical exposure.
8.7 Non-spectrometric activity and dose meters used to check compliance with radiation protection or nuclear safety limits and those used for emergency measurements.
The customers of our metrology centre are mainly hospital radiotherapy departments, services are also used by industry and trade customers. The services are provided against payment according to the valid pricelist on the adress:

AMC K111 instrumentation: Chisostat SO 01 irradiator with a Co-60 radionuclide source with energy of 200 fJ (1.25 MeV), Chisotron A and B irradiators with Co-60 and Cs-137 radionuclide sources, Unidos E meter, type T10010, cavity ionization chamber NE 2571, IAEA type water phantom of 30x30x30 cm3 and others.
Authorized Metrological Center disposes of necessary permits and certificates for its activity.
