  • Development and applications of nuclear analytical methods based on ion and neutron beams (Rutherford Backscattering/Channeling, Neutron Depth Profiling, etc.) in interdisciplinary research: material science, polymer science, life science.
  • Study of hybrid systems (metal-fullerene composites) – their synthesis, characterization.
  • Study of advanced structural and functional materials phenomena.

 

Teaching activities

Lecturer at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (Neutron Physics); at present supervisor-specialist of 1 Ph.D. thesis on development of gas/bio-sensors.

 

Other activities

  • Member of a board of the Grant Agency of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic;
  • Co-editor of the international journal Radiation Effects and Defects in Solids.
