30. 09. 2020
The Nuclear Physics Institute of the CAS was visited on 25 September 2020 by the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS) Prof. RNDr. Eva Zazimalova, CSc. The main focus was on the new AMS laboratory.
Accompanied by the NPI Director Petr Lukáš, Deputy Director Ondřej Svoboda, NPI Board Vice-Chair Jana Bielčíková and Excelent (chief) Researcher of the RAMSES project Jan Kučera, the President inspected the newly built premises of the future AMS laboratory in our accelerator complex – including clean room for special purpose and a accelerator hall to which boxes with components of the Milea AMS accelerator for the RAMSES project were added just a few days ago.
In the NPI meeting room, Petr Lukáš then acquainted her – in the form of a projected presentation and in a friendly discussion – with the news in the NPI since the President's last visit two years ago.
