Our experiments for the International Space Station ISS are headed to ESA
23. 04. 2025

In the second half of April, the Ministry of Transport nominated 14 experiments to the European Space Agency (ESA) that will be operated on the ISS by Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda. Among them are two projects being developed in the Department of Radiation Dosimetry of the NPI.
One of them is the CZPAD experiment, which will use a specially modified dosimeter to measure the radiation dose from neutrons slowed by water in the astronaut's body. The second ZOE experiment will test whether the beginning of embryonic development of the domestic chicken occurs in such a way that the individual will have a chance to develop into a sexually fertile one.
Further information and presentations of all projects can be found in the press release of the Ministry of Transport.
