26. 05. 2025

On May 12, 2025, our colleague Roman Garba, together with Ukrainian archaeologist Vitalii Usyk, gave a lecture in Vienna as part of the prestigious HEAS (Human Evolution and Archaeological Sciences) seminar. The presentation, titled "Cosmic Clock for Human History: New Insights from Korolevo, Ukraine", focused on the Korolevo site – from its discovery to the dating of the oldest human occupation, in which Dr. Garba played a significant role. A recording of the seminar (in English) is available on YouTube.
At the end of April, Dr. Garba also presented his research in Cambridge (UK) at the conference Human Evolution - From Fossils to Ancient and Modern Genomes. There, he delivered a talk titled "Investigating Evolutionary Timelines through Cosmogenic Nuclides: A Case Study from the Korolevo Site."
