
Seminar on cosmic radiation and radiation protection of crew during space missions

Department of Radiation Dosimetry of the NPI CAS invites you to a seminar on cosmic radiation and radiation protection of crew during space missions, which will take place on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 9.00 am in the Conference Hall of the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS, Národní 3, Prague).
Talks will be given by experts with many years of experience: Günther Reitz (From Apollo to Mars Mission), Eric Benton (How to Detect Cosmic Radiation), O. A. Ivanov (Space Experiments with Animals), V. Shurshakov (Protection of Humans from Radiation in Space). Panel discussion is planned for afternoon session. This seminar is supported by the Czech Academy of Sciences, VP16 Strategy 21, topic Space for Mankind (http://av21.avcr.cz/vyzkumne-programy/16-vesmir-pro-lidstvo/index.html).
