
NPI on the road to membership in FAIR

FAIR Council, the Shareholders´ Assembly of the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research, GmbH (FAIR), has unanimously approved the proposal to accept Nuclear Physics Institute of the CAS as an Aspirant Partner in FAIR at its regular meeting on 5 December, 2018. This partnership is a first step to a fuller membership in FAIR.
NPI has been delegated by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to represent Czech Republic in FAIR and coordinates work of the Czech research community contributing to FAIR.
A formal signing of the Aspirant Partnership agreement will take place in January 2019.
