In co-operation with Aarhus University, Denmark and Lund University, Sweden, neutron activation analysis and micro-PIXE are being used for analysis of hair, beard and bone samples of the great Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe since the beginning of 2011. The aim of these analyses is to elucidate the reason of the Tycho Brahe´s death in 1601. Results and conclusions will be published in November 2011.
