CANAM at SLOPOS workshop in theory and practice
30. 09. 2019
The CANAM infrastructure was presented at the prestigious 15th International Workshop on Slow Positron Beam Techniques & Applications (SLOPOS-15), organized by Charles University, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Prague (FMP CU, mainly by the Department of Low-Temperature Physics and Positron Annihilation Group) from 2 to 6 September 2019.
One section of the traditional international workshop was devoted to ion implantation and radiation damage, where Anna Macková (NPI) gave a lecture "Ion Beam Modification of Crystalline Materials for Optoelectronic Application", summarizing CANAM's acquisitions in this area.
At the same time, instrumentation available in CANAM were introduced in the poster sections. The excursion of the workshop participants to the workplaces under CANAM in Řež area of NPI finished this event: namely the workplace of new cyclotron TR-24, Tandetron and the Laboratory of neutron generators.
