
American students visited the AMS laboratory and cyclotrons at NPI

On June 6, six North Carolina State University students from the USA visited the AMS Laboratory and the U-120M and TR-24 cyclotrons during their study internship abroad, as a part of the Introduction to Engineering and Problem Solving program.
These were first-year students who will continue to profile themselves in the following school year with the possibility of focusing on nuclear engineering. The students visited the U-120M and TR-24 cyclotrons, where they were accompanied by Jan Štursa and Milan Štefánik, followed by prof. Jan Kučera performed AMS laboratory.
On behalf of NC State University, the event was organized by its Prague unit, represented by Anna Tlamichová, who accompanied the students at NPI.
