
The Nuclear-Chemical Afternoon in Řež will be online

The Week of the Czech Academy of Sciences has traditionally included the Open Days of the Řež scientific valley. This year, it will take place on November 6 from 1 pm to 4 pm in the online form, under the name Nuclear-Chemical Afternoon in Řež.
The event is organized jointly by the Nuclear Physics Institute of the CAS, the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of the CAS, and by the ÚJV Řež, a. s. In the afternoon composed of lectures and films, online participants will learn about the history, importance and present of research in the Řež scientific valley in the fields of nuclear physics, inorganic chemistry and sustainable energy. During the afternoon there will speak the scientific secretary of the NPI, RNDr. Vladimír Wagner, CSc., Michael Londesborough, Ph.D. (IIC) and Adam Kecek (ÚJV Řež).
