
The NPI is working on a new STAR project

On 1 September 2025, the Nuclear Physics Institute began implementing the STAR project: Strategic Development of the Environment and Capacities for Excellent Research and Development at the Nuclear Physics Institute of the CAS.
Registered under number CZ.02.01.01/00/23_026/0011219, the programme is funded by the EU through the Research Environment call of the OP JAC programme.
The STAR project will implement advanced strategic changes in human resource management and other aspects of the research environment at the NPI. The primary goal is to obtain and implement the HR Award. Another goal is to strengthen the organisation's scientific and managerial management, institutional resilience, and communication and marketing. Key activities include training, mentoring and sharing good practice on a national and international scale.
