15. 11. 2024

On November 15, a delegation of scientists from Japan visited the Nuclear Physics Institute. All members of the mission, led by Prof. Dr. Kazuhiko Mase from KEK (High Energy Accelerator Research Organization), work in the field of vacuum physics, accelerators, mass spectrometers or vacuum pumps. After meeting with the management of the NPI, the guests toured the Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Laboratory (MILEA facility) and also the Tandetron Laboratory.
The aim of the event, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, was to deepen Czech-Japanese scientific cooperation in vacuum physics and related fields and to find export opportunities for Czech companies.
