
FORBES magazine: Jana Bielčíková is one of the Czech TOP female scientists

In the second year of the selection of "interesting, inspiring and active female scientists", Associate Professor. Jana Bielčíková was awarded. In addition to her research on quark-gluon plasmas, also teaches at the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. How did she manage to combine her scientific career with taking care of her family, or what would help the better development of science in the Czech Republic? These and other questions doc. Bielčíková was asked by Forbes magazine (the interview is only available in the Czech language).
In addition to the recommendations, the final selection was based on the prestigious grants and awards received, citations, media appearances, presenting her work to the general public, and leadership of scientific groups. The selection includes not only native Czech women, but also scientists originally from other countries, who have been working in the Czech scientific environment for a long time and who have a major impact on the level of their field in the Czech environment.
