All parts of the Milea AMS accelerator are already in Řež
23. 09. 2020
On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, a truck with the first eleven boxes full of components of the Milea AMS accelerator for the RAMSES project arrived at the NPI of the CAS area in Řež. The remaining nine boxes then arrived in another truck a day later.
The boxes were unloaded with a forklift at the recently completed building for the AMS laboratory in the complex of our accelerators and secured against weather conditions. On Monday, September 21, they were moved inside the laboratory hall using a crane by a specialized company from Ostrava, and a pallet truck moved the boxes from the crane platform to the hall itself.
